Giant monitor lizard creeps it's way into tourist's rest house.
A monitor lizard brought traffic along Jalan Melaka Raya, in Malacca, Malaysia, to a near standstill when it calmly walked down the road towards oncoming traffic before heading to a travellers' lodge. I guess it was looking for a room for the night!
Te incident that happened about noon today and locals and tourists alike were awestruck when they spotted the giant lizard, measuring over one metre. It eventually headed for the entrance of Shirah's Travellers Lodge.
Tourists and locals alike gathered round and took pictures of the lizard, which was finally caught by members of the public and released into a nearby drain.
