Denied a chance to debate the legality of the Iraq war in court, an Army officer who refused to go to Iraq now goes to trial hoping to at least minimize the amount of time he could serve if convicted.
This is sick. You can't be a conscientious(I know I spelled that wrong damnit!) objector anymore? Thank God there are still people like this left in our country. Too many "just follow orders". And he is taking a stand what what he believes is rightdespite the consequences. This makes him a true American hero in my book. Right or wrong, this is what Honor and courage and heroism is all about.
