David Hasselhoff, the
Baywatch actor and
America's Got Talent judge, has moved into a new artistic venue -- the Broadway musical.
Hasselhoff will star as director Roger DeBris in a 90-minute version of
The Producers in Las Vegas at the Paris Casino Hotel.
The official show opening is Feb.9, though Hasselhoff has already been seen in sneak previews since Wednesday.
Hasselhoff will stay with the show at least three months.
No matter what he does, the fans seem to love him, so I imagine he'll be playing to packed audiences until the novelty wears off.
