Digital Journal -- My Rant For the Day ... DUPLICATES

By Carolyn E. Price     Feb 2, 2007 in Technology
Has anyone noticed lately that there have been an enourmous amount of duplicate posts put up on Digital Journal?
Look, DJ is getting so popular and the number of posts is becoming, well, almost overwhelming (for me anyway). I like to try read all of them (note, that my other well shall we say "pet peeve" videos is not mentioned here? Anyone?). I just like to read news, opinions and DJ'ers views. Earning money is great but for the amount of time you put into it, I wouldn't suggest that you do this for a living. Posting a duplicate and just leaving it up to add to your total is not going to get you anywhere!
There are many, many intelligent, articulate, talented, quirky, hilarious, downright rude, and truly loving posters on this wonderful site. And I've been having the best time these last few months.
I know, I know, all of you out there are going to point out that I am just a guilty as the rest for doing this (I think I've done it what, around 5 times? Out of around 500 post, I really don't think those states are too bad.) However, in the last few weeks, there have been post after post after post that are duplicates and the poster just seem to leave them up.
GET THEM THE F&@&$ off the site! They drive me crazy!
Well, now that I've got that over with, I'm feeling much better. NOT.
When someone actually takes the time to read your post and point out to you that your post is a duplicate and doesn't just arbitratily vote you down, will you please show a little common courtesy and get the post off DJ? Is it really too much to ask for the sake of one pitifully overloaded DJ'er?
Whine, whine, whine ... blah, blah, blah
P.S. I anxiously await Khee Mao's intelligent, articulate, talented, quirky, hilarious, downright rude and truly loving response to this post! Hee, hee.
