Man Bets Wife in Poker Game & Loses

Out of cash and desperate to stay in a poker game, Andrei Karpov offered his wife as the stake instead.

He lost the game but it was not until his opponent, Sergey Brodov, showed up at his home to claim his winnings did Karpov's wife find out she had been used as stakes in the poker match. Tatiana, the wife, was so enraged at her husband, she decided to divorce him and kindle a relationship with Brodov. Tatiana is now happily married to Brodov and harbors no regrets for leaving her first husband. What he did brought her much humiliation and shame and she knew the moment she found out about it, she had no choice but to leave him. As for her new husband, Tatiana said, "Sergey was a very handsome, charming man and I am very happy with him, even if he did 'win' me in a poker game." In a way, her first husband did her a favor. He played matchmaker in the strangest way possible. As for Tatiana, she exhibited a lot of self esteem in divorcing him.
