The boy's parents are currently divorcing and were involved in a custody battle. Upon news of hearing the toddler was missing on Friday, the mother - who is pregant - was hospitalized. She expressed anguish to the press, worried that her other two children were not safe, "with that man". Authorities report that the boy was found drowned in a septic tank just feet from the house, over which the heavy lid was secured.
