“Today we announced that ‘You Make It Look So Good’ is going to be our new single off the brand new record, and we sang a little of it online today. This is a song that our national radio rep found, which never happens, and she brought it in, and it just knocked us out, and everybody across the company loved it. It’s one of those Thompson Square songs. We were honored and privileged to record it, and it came out great,” Keifer said.
On the loss of Joey Feek from the country duo Joey and Rory, Shawna said, “We were extremely inspired by their relationship. What a strong woman, to battle cancer like she did. It’s just an amazing story. I think their life could totally be made into a movie. The way they loved each other is just awesome.”
Regarding their plans for 2016, Keifer said, “We just had a new baby [Cooper] and we have a new album coming out. This whole year is going to be great. We have some huge news coming out later on this year.”
They revealed that they would be performing such songs on their set-list at The Paramount as “Trans Am,” “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About,” “Glass,” “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not,” as well as their newest radio single “You Make It Look So Good.”
