The Paramount launches Android mobile app for fans, concertgoers

As Digital Journal previously reported, The Paramount ranked at No. 11 in the highest-attended club venues in the world. It has partnered with Appelago, in an effort to release a new mobile app for Android, which is available to the public. It can be downloaded for free on the Google Play Store, under the title “ParamountNY,” and it featured a dynamic push service, which deploys video notifications.

These notifications will showcase the venue’s forthcoming event calendar with direct links to Ticketmaster, as well as gift cards, special events, social media links and VIP Founders Room information. This app will help fans keep up-to-date with new show announcements, pre-sales and special ticket offers, along with various promotions.

The Paramount’s marketing director, Adam Ellis, noted that the venue is excited to partner with Appelago on this new venture. They are looking forward to providing their guests, fans and artists a more interactive concert experience on their Android phones when they come to a show.
