Country band The Lost Trailers will be joining forces with the music discovery platform, CMT Artists, in an effort to give their fans a multi-media experience on their upcoming tour.
The group's country fans will be afforded to chance to appear in a music video at every tour date and spotlight tier hometowns, which will be live exclusively on the CMT Artists website, as well as the CMT Artists app, the latter of which is ideal for mobile devices.
An interactive "Fan-Filmed" area will be at each venue to collect video footage from fans, including content that showcases the local community, the experiences around the show and local rising musical acts; moreover, that footage will be combined to create a new music video for every show.
"One of my favorite parts of touring is learning about the great regions of America that I've never been to before, or haven't had the chance to really experience," lead singer Stokes Nielson remarked in a press release. "This allows not only us, but the whole country music community, to have access to these heartland stories and local lore."
The band was discovered by country music pioneer Willie Nelson, and they broke in the country music scene and they delivered five Top 40 singles including their Top 10 gold-certified hit "Holler Back." They have earned many Academy of Country Music (ACM) nominations throughout their career and they continue to tour nationwide with their energetic live shows.
