By Markos Papadatos     Jul 8, 2014 in Music
Country duo The Bellamy Brothers have added more exotic dates to their 2014 summer tour schedule. These will include tour stops in Qatar, Australia and New Caledonia.
They will already be performing in Switzerland, Belgium, France, Norway, Germany and Canada. This has one of the most demanding tour schedules since the duo's inception approximately four decades ago.
In February of 2014, The Bellamy Brothers made touring history when they became the first country act to tour in Sri Lanka and India, where they sold out shows in both countries.

David Bellamy remarked in a press release, "The international tour circuit landed us permanent jet lag since we started our career almost four decades ago and it seems like it keeps getting busier every year. We are thankful for all of the countries around the world who have supported us, and continue to support us, over the years."
The duo plans to release new music in conjunction with several other international recording artists. The Bellamy Brothers will travel to Brazil later in the year to record with Brazilian rock-star Eduardo Araújo and will also reunite with Swiss rock sensation Gölä for another collaboration, which is scheduled for release in September.
In addition, The Bellamy Brothers released a three-song EP and controversial music video, as Digital Journal previously reported.
The EP and video serve as a preview for their 40th anniversary album which will be released in spring of 2015. This forthcoming two-disc set will feature 17 new songs and 17 of their hits.
Howard and David Bellamy are also going to continue travel in the United States, where they will be performing over 100 live dates in 2014, which include a July 9 performance at the historic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
