Martina McBride's volunteer organization, Team Martina, is continuing to make a difference through the healing power of music.
On November 1, country sensation Martina McBride performed a sold-out show at the iconic Ryman Auditorium, and the Team Martina volunteers gathered and they collected hundreds of Christmas stockings, which will be delivered to Nashville hospital patients throughout the month of December.
This marks their fourth year as an organization and they have visited thousands of cancer patients during the Christmas holiday season. There are teams of volunteers that are forming in such states as Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri and Florida, all of which will be delivering Christmas stocking for cancer centers around the United States. These stockings contain optimistic messages.
An award-winning country songstress, McBride is on her "Everlasting" tour. Her tour stop on October 9 at The Space at Westbury was remarkable, as reported by Digital Journal.
McBride released her first cookbook entitled Around The Table.
