Taylor Swift sings at New York’s NYE, showcases big heart

It has charted for nine weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. With seven weeks at No. 1, this marks her highest-charting single to date, besting her six week record for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

In addition, Swift was a part of the New Year’s Eve celebration in New York, where she sang two songs, “Welcome to New York” and her smash single “Shake It Off.”

On another positive note, Swift proved to be the celebrity with the biggest heart in 2014. While she has achieved major success in the pop music world with her newest album 1989, she did not forget where she came from, and she took time to express her gratitude and appreciation to her fans, and give some of that love back to them. The acclaimed songstress will be embarking on her world tour in May.
