Washington - Global music star Taylor Swift brought out a special musical guest in her Washington, D.C. concert. It was none other than fellow pop star Lorde.
They sang Lorde's smash hit single "Royals," which had previously topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts for nine weeks, and their vocal event was well received by the fans in attendance.
Fans can check out their duet performance below:
Swift noted via a tweet that fellow singing sensation Lorde flew across the globe to surprise her fans with "Royals," because she is a "wondrous angel."
Lorde returned the favor via a neat tweet. "Just laughing like 'this is our job how lucky are we/this stadium is so loud and pretty/we are best buds/KILLING IT'," Lorde posted for her fans and followers.
The New Zealand songstress subsequently praised Swift for being a "leader of a great and beautiful galaxy," which she would live in forever.
Digital Journal's review of Swift's concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey may be seen by clicking here. That was where the U.S. Women's Soccer Team made a cameo during her performance of "Style."
