Twain is one of the best-selling female artists in the world, and her new tour is expected to run 48 show dates. This new tour follows her two-year residency in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The tour will begin in North America in Seattle, Washington, on June 5, and she will play songs from her lengthy catalog of hit singles with a brand new production. Her “Rock This Country” tour is presented by AEG Live.
Her opening acts will include Canadian actor and musician Wes Mack, as well as singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw.
“This is a celebration tour. It’s party time,” Twain exclaimed in a press statement. “The ‘Rock This Country’ tour will have a different spirit than my past tours.”
The acclaimed songstress added, “It’s a Shania they’ve never seen before. A lot of years have gone by and I’ve got a lot more to share.”
Her Come On Over album is the best-selling country album of all-time, as well as the best-selling album by a female recording artist.
On June 30, Twain will be performing at New York’s Madison Square Garden, and on July 1, she will be playing at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island in New York.
