Platinum-selling pop singer and songwriter Ryan Cabrera is back in the studio working on new music, that will be released this fall on Dynamite Music.
This marks mark the first release from the new boutique label–founded by Mitch Davis and Marco Liuzzo. It is in partnership with Caroline, the independent division of Capitol Music Group/Universal Music Group, and Cabrera's first new music since his 2013 single "I See Love."
"I'm extremely excited and proud to have such a brilliant team in Lippman Entertainment [management], Dynamite Music and Caroline," Cabrera remarked in a press statement. "It's an honor to work with some of the best minds the music business has to offer. Believing in who you work with is something I value and I have enough experience now in the business to know how important teamwork is."
He is best-known for such massive pot hits as "On The Way Down," the ballad "True" and "I Will Remember You."
A new single is expected in the summer, followed by an EP this fall, and a full-length studio album later in the year. For this project, he has collaborated with an array of acclaimed producers and songwriters.
"It's truly been such a fun journey writing and recording this record," Cabrera noted in a press release. "Being able to take my time with it has really allowed it to take shape and come together the only way I could see it turning out! I have learned so much working with Justin Gray and writing with so many talented people like Nathan Chapman, Andrew Fromm, Shelly Peiken and tons more. Also, finally getting to do a song with longtime friend Paul Blair was awesome."
A Dallas native, Cabrera signed a record deal with Atlantic Records in 2001 and teamed up with Johnny Rzeznik, the lead singer of the Goo Goo Dolls to co-produce his debut album, Take It All Away, which was released in 2004. It featured the breakthrough hit "On The Way Down," which reached No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and "True," which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Pop charts.
Take it All Away has sold over 500,000 copies in the United States alone and reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts, selling over 67,000 copies in the first week and it was eventually certified double-platinum.
In 2013, Cabrera released the digital single "I See Love," which was featured on the highest-viewed season finale of the ABC Family's hit show, The Vineyard.
