Latin pop superstar Ricky Martin has a major reason to party. He won the "Best Latin Pop Album" Grammy on Feb. 15 at the Staples Center.
"YES YES YES!!!! Today we won the Grammy for Best Latin Pop album. So thankful for everyone involved in making magic in the studio. You know who you are. Thank you!!! @thegrammys," Martin posted on his official Facebook page.
His album A Quien Quiera Escuchar (Deluxe Edition) was named "Best Latin Pop Album," where Martin bested albums by his fellow nominees Pablo Alborán, Alex Cuba, Alejandro Sanz and Julieta Venegas.
This marks his second Grammy win in his respected music career. In the 1999 Grammy ceremony, his album Vuelve took home the award for "Best Latin Pop Performance." He has been nominated a total of 10 times, with two Grammy wins. Martin also holds three Latin Grammy awards to his credit, which honor outstanding contributions to Spanish language music.
