article imageReview: Youri Menna charms on Backstreet Boys 'I Want It That Way' cover Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jan 24, 2016 in Music
Singer-songwriter Youri Menna has covered Backstreet Boys' hit single "I Want It That Way" and he has done a phenomenal job.
He performed the song at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, and it was well-received by the crowd, as well as with his YouTube viewers. Ironically enough, his hometown is Paris, France.
Menna truly captures the emotion behind the Backstreet Boys ballad "I Want It That Way," and is able to give it his own, unique twist thanks to his acoustic guitar and his rich, baritone voice. His dynamic acoustic performance of the tune ought to be enjoyed for its beauty and its simplicity.
Equally impressive are his versions of The Calling's "Wherever You Will Go," Oasis' "Wonderwall" and Enrique Iglesias' "Hero," as well as his original recordings.
The Verdict
Overall, Youri Menna is delightful on his rendition of "I Want It That Way." The Backstreet Boys would approve of this bravura version. Menna's music is recommended for fans of pop-rock and acoustic music. This song earns an A rating.
