Review: Wannabe — Spice Girls Tribute Act delights (Includes first-hand account)

They shared the stage with The 90’s Band and Larger Than Life, and they were all able to deliver, and thus bring a feeling of 90s nostalgia to the venue.

Prior to their show, in our quick chat, Wannabe revealed that they are originally from Canada, and they have been together as a tribute band for four years. Throughout their career, they earned a nod for the COCA Award for “Best Entertainment Act of the year,” and rightfully so.

Acclaimed Long Island medium and psychic Janet Russell, who was present at their concert, praised the girls of Wannabe for their bubbly personalities, energy and their immense talent.

The Verdict

Overall, Wannabe’s live performance at Mulcahy’s was high-energy and a great deal of fun. They were able to do the Spice Girls justice, and thus introduce their music to a younger generation of fans. Most impressive was the fact that the girls looked exactly like them. Wannabe is worth seeing live whenever they are in town, especially fans of the Spice Girls.
