Walk Off The Earth have released their new music video "Rule The World," and it is quite a pleasant treat for viewers and listeners.
Their music video for their breakthrough single "Rule The World" includes vibrant colors, hues and illustrations, and it incorporates intricate choreography and airborne musical instruments. It is no wonder that it's nearing one million views on their YouTube channel in record-breaking time. Their song is laid-back, uplifting and a great deal of fun. It is quite the inspirational anthem. "Rule The World" has a retro Peter Gabriel vibe to it, and that ought to be taken as a big compliment.
Their sophomore studio album will be released this summer, via their record label, Columbia Records. Fans can check out their "Rule The World" song on iTunes, by clicking here.
A Canadian quintet, Walk Off The Earth is comprised of multi-instrumentalists Gianni Luminati, Marshall, and Sarah Blackwood on vocals, as well as Taylor on keyboards, and drummer Joel Cassady. They rose to prominence after their stellar cover of Gotye's Grammy-winning single "Somebody That I Used To Know," which went viral.
The Verdict
Walk Off The Earth's "Rule The World" single has a catchy beat and melody, and its music video elevates it to a higher level. It is a substantial indication that director John Poliquin has done a brilliant job in its direction. It garners an A rating.
