article imageReview: Tyler Farr rocks on new single 'Whiskey in My Water'

By Markos Papadatos     Mar 23, 2014 in Music
Country music singer and RCA Nashville recording artist Tyler Farr released his newest radio single "Whiskey In My Water."
This ballad, which Farr co-wrote, is one of my favorite tracks from his debut studio album Redneck Crazy. It allows the fans to see a different side of him than his previous hit single "Redneck Crazy," which I also absolutely loved due to its angst and fun music video.
This single's lyrics are neat as well, with vivid imagery and many of his male fans can relate to it, since many girls in their lives can be described as the moon in their shine and the whiskey in their water.
I like the allusion he makes to Flint River, which is reminiscent of a lyric from another favorite country tune of mine, Justin Moore's "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away."
The Verdict
"Whiskey in My Water" garners 4 out of 5 stars. His vocals are reminiscent of such country singers as Eric Church and Kip Moore, both of which are great musicians in their own right.
