article imageReview: Tim McGraw delivers at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in NY Special

Wantagh - On June 11, country superstar Tim McGraw headlined the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on Long Island, for a great turnout.
This was for his 2015 "Shotgun Rider" tour, and country musicians Chase Bryant and Billy Currington served as his opening acts, and they warmed up the stage for McGraw.
He began his set with "Truck Yeah" and he immediately broke into "Something Like That" and "Down on the Farm."
McGraw continued with "Southern Girl," the laid-back "Real Good Man" and "One of Those Nights."
His live vocal performance of his latest radio single "Diamond Rings and Old Bar Stools" was dynamic and refreshing.
Equally impressive were "Last Dollar (Fly Away)," "Where the Green Grass Grows" and "Shotgun Rider." He took his fans on a trip down memory lane, with the upbeat and fun "I Like It, I Love It."
Everybody in the audience was reciting the lyrics to the closing song "The Cowboy in Me" verbatim. It was clearly the fan-favorite tune of the evening.
McGraw was able to dust off Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" and make it his own, and he closed on an emotional note with "Live Like You Were Dying," where there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
The Verdict
Overall, Tim McGraw's show was well-received by the Long Island audience. He interacted well with the fans, and they inevitably loved him in return. His concert was highly eclectic song-wise, and it garnered 4 out of 5 stars.
