article imageReview: The Cadillac Three back with new single 'Party Like You' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Aug 16, 2014 in Music
The Cadillac Three are back with their latest single, the upbeat and rocking "Party Like You," but they make it work for them.
They are signed to Big Machine Records, and it the follow-up to their breakthrough single "The South," which featured vocals from such special musical guests as Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Mike Eli from the Eli Young Band.
Their new single has elements of southern rock and country in there. Lead singer Jaren Johnston co-penned it with songwriters Jon Nite and Jimmy Robbins. The tempo is extremely fast-paced and it makes all other upbeat songs on the radio seem like ballads.
"You got me rocking, rolling, like New Orleans, Cut off booze like damn you know it, Little bit a drink, little wink wink, Tell me what you think, I've been looking for a party like you," Johnston sings.
They have been performing this beat-heavy single lately in their live shows and at radio events and it is definitely a fan-favorite due to its high-energy nature.
The Verdict
The Cadillac Three know how to throw a party at any country bar or honky tonk like no other, and their song's music video depicts the excitement in the tune and director Brian Lazarro was able to capture that. Jaren Johnston nails the vocals as always, and they manage to stay unique to their own sound. One cannot help but love the twang in Johnston's voice. There is nobody else that sounds like them on the radio at the moment. Their new song garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
