British singer-songwriter Sam Smith has released his newest single "Stay With Me," from his latest CD "In The Lonely Hour."
The 22-year old musician is signed to Capitol Records. Smith co-penned the song with James Napier and William Phillips.
His music video shows Smith grabbing his coat and shoes, going out of his house and then walking down a street as he is singing the poignant, piano-driven ballad. Midway through the song, he is seen with a gospel choir, as they harmonizing with him on "Stay With Me," in a bright lit church.
The lyrics are authentic and conversational, and many listeners can relate to them, since they may have experienced them at some point in their lives. "Oh, won't you stay with me? 'Cause you're all I need, This ain't love it's clear to see, but darling, stay with me," Smith sings.

Sam Smith possesses one of the purest male soulful voices in contemporary music. He triumphs on this ode to loneliness thanks to his warm vocals and sincere songwriting. Once you hear his song on the radio airwaves, you instantly want to hear it again. He connects well with his audience and you can feel his raw emotions and heart on this moving tune. Smith emerges as the male version of Adele in blues and pop music. "Stay With Me" garners an A rating. This will be the song that will make him a global sensation.
