article imageReview: Pentatonix amazes on 'Mary, Did You Know?' music video Special

By Markos Papadatos     Nov 17, 2014 in Music
A-capella band Pentatonix has released their newest music video for "Mary, Did You Know?" and it is breathtakingly beautiful.
It is the follow-up to their music video for "Winter Wonderland/Don't Worry Be Happy." It is a track on their album, That's Christmas To Me.
In their latest music video for "Mary, Did You Know?" Pentatonix maintains superb control over their vocals, and their harmonies are incomparable. Their version is unique, tender and it really tugs at the heartstrings, due to its haunting nature. They also display their ability to hit the high notes. It is a true force of nature. They are seen holding candles in the song's music video, which makes it very nostalgic and appropriate for the holiday season.
The Verdict
Overall, it is so hard to criticize an exceptional band like Pentatonix. They prove they are stellar once again on "Mary, Did You Know?" All their listeners can do is be in total awe of them. This rendition is sheer perfection, and one of the best that I have ever heard of this song. It garners 5 out of 5 stars.
