Review: Nick Tangorra Band rocks on new single ‘I Want You’ (Includes first-hand account)

Their new original single “I Want You” is infectious, and it has a retro vibe to it. Nick’s lead vocals are crisp and refreshing, where the listener can recall a male version of Amy Winehouse, and that ought to be taken as a major compliment.

Fans and listeners can catch Nick Tangorra Band perform at the BLI Summer Jam on June 13 at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York. Chances are that they will be playing this new single in their upcoming show, since it displays their own artistry.

Aside from Nick, the trio is comprised of musical director Rafe Tangorra on drums, and Will Ahrens on guitar.

The Verdict

Overall, Nick Tangorra Band’s new single “I Want You” is pleasant, upbeat and fun. It garners 4 out of 5 stars, and it showcases the band’s talent as a whole. It should propel them to the next level of stardom.
