Her breathy vocals are reminiscent of Paula Abdul meets Stacie Q (“Two of Hearts”), and the listener can easily recall a young Janet Jackson. The song is funky with a retro vibe to it. Vice co-wrote the song with fellow songwriter Drew Joy. It is a track from her forthcoming studio album Spread The News, which will be released on July 15.
“All of the Time” is a collaboration with such artists as The Golden Pony, French Horn Rebellion, Young Science and Fake Money. The seductive track is about being into somebody and owning that attraction, and her performance is quite convincing.
“7 digits, got the impression that you’re with it, I might be tripping but let’s do this, ain’t nothing to it if it’s all just fun and games, so keep it easy,” Vice sings, in its opening verse.
The songstress was born and raised in New York, where she was inspired by such artist as Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston and The Beatles’ Paul McCartney. Ever since, she has honed her skills as an all-around musician. It is evident that songwriting and singing are her biggest passions in life.
The Verdict
Overall, “All of the Time” is a fun dance track that should be a hit for the summer season. It earns 4 out of 5 stars.
