“Long Island. How are you feeling today?” Brandon Lancaster asked, as he opened their set with “Trouble Maker.”
“We need you to move a little bit,” they said, as they had the audience clapping along to the uplifting, mid-tempo tune “We Do.” “We’re LANco. We come from Nashville, Tennessee. I see a lot of beautiful faces out there,” Lancaster said, complimented the Long Island audience.
Lancaster shared that he was going to slow down the set for the following song, which dealt with a small town. It was entitled “American Love Story,” which featured his dynamic voice, and the versatility of his band that allowed them to shine as a whole.
“Thank ya’ll,” Lancaster said graciously, following the warm reception of “American Love Story.” They noted that they have been a band for four years, but they were able to branch out over the last year and a half.
They acknowledged that the world is a “crazy place” and it could be scary at times, and they immediately broke into their new single, “Long Live Tonight,” which was optimistic and refreshing. “Long Island, ya’ll with us?” they asked, and after expressing their gratitude for their fans, they closed with “Singing at the Stars,” as Lancaster walked in the audience and interacted well with them. It is safe to say that the New York crowd loved them in return, and they made many new fans tonight.
Aside from Lancaster on lead vocals, the band is made up of Tripp Howell on drums, Eric Steedly on lead guitar, Jared Hampton on keyboards, and Chandler Baldwin on bass.
