Review: Justin Bieber soothing on new radio single ‘Love Yourself’ (Includes first-hand account)

It is a track on his latest studio album, Purpose. Bieber’s music video for the song is extremely well-crafted, and meaningful. The video was created by Bieber, Parris Goebel and his manager, Scooter Braun.

“My mama don’t like you and she like’s everyone, and I never like to admit that I was wrong, and I’ve been so caught up in my job, didn’t see what’s going on, and now I know, I’m better sleeping on my own,” Bieber sings.

The song was co-penned by Bieber, as well as Ed Sheeran and Benjamin Levin. Benny Blanco served as his producer.

The Verdict

Overall, Justin Bieber does a solid job on his new ballad, “Love Yourself.” Haters are going to hate, but vocally and lyrically, it is a great and mellow track. “Love Yourself” garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
