The Verdict

Overall, Jesse Ruben sings from the heart on “This Is Why I Need You,” and he is not afraid to display his vulnerability. It is a haunting acoustic ballad, yet he sings it beautifully, while being able to connect with his fans and listening audience. The lyrics are heartfelt, well-written and optimistic. Ruben deserves an “A” for “This Is Why I Need You.”
