Review: James Maslow refreshing on new ‘Cheerleader’ cover by OMI (Includes first-hand account)

The music video for their cover song, filmed at a beach, was produced by David Michael Frank, and he subsequently thanked the Relica Music Group for putting it all together. Maslow’s vocals are controlled and soothing, and he does the original “Cheerleader” recording justice. He is joined with songstresses Tiffany Alvord and Megan Nicole, both of which are delightful and their voices are crystalline.

The Verdict

James Maslow’s “Cheerleader” collaboration with Tiffany Alvord and Megan Nicole garners an A rating. It ranks high up there with his “See You Again” and “Want To Want Me” covers. His fans and listeners will be looking to forward to more cover songs, as well as new originals from the Big Time Rush band member.
