New York - On November 14, electronic music sensation Emma Hewitt performed at Terminal 5 in New York, along with electronic producer and DJ Gareth Emery.
This was part of Emery's "Electric For Life" tour, and it had an excellent turnout. An Australian native, Hewitt joined him midway through his set. "Hands up in the air," she said, greeting her New York fans. "All right, New York, how are you doing tonight?" she asked.
She opened her show with "Going Home," where she instantly lured her listeners in her set. It was followed by yet another dynamic performance of "Be Your Sound," where she showcased her versatile and ethereal voice. The control she maintained over her vocals was impeccable.
Hewitt closed with her signature tune, the mellifluous "Waiting," as confetti drizzled over the audience, and she incorporated it as a crowd sing-along. "You guys are awesome tonight," she exclaimed.
The Verdict
Overall, Emma Hewitt commanded the Terminal 5 stage quite well, and the audience inevitaly loved her in return. She put on an electrifying live performance, proving that she is the reigning queen of electronic dance music, and rightfully so. It is no wonder that Hewitt is constantly listed by every male producer and DJ in the electronic dance music genre as their dream female collaboration choice. Her show garnered an A rating.
