article imageReview: Elizabeth Lyons takes country by storm in 'Party Rules' video Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jan 12, 2015 in Music
Country sensation Elizabeth Lyons is back with her rocking new music video for her single "Party Rules" and it is a smash hit.
Her music video peaked at No. 4 on the iTunes all-genre music video charts, as well as No. 1 on the iTunes country music video charts. It was directed by Jon Chema and produced by Joel Hartz. It was filmed at Terian Farms Event Center.
"Party Rules" was co-written by Lyons and Dan Swinimer, and it received a rave review from Digital Journal.
The video is slightly reminiscent of Danielle Bradbery's "Young in America," but with a more country-rock edge to it, where the listener can recall Lindsay Ell, yet another talented female country singer-songwriter. Lyons shows her fans and viewers how to have a good time, and she nails the vocals doing so.
The Verdict
Just when you thought that Elizabeth Lyons could not top herself with her "Everything Tonight" video, she proves her fans wrong again. What makes her stand out by a mile is that she has been doing everything independently, and that is quite impressive, to be that young, talented and successful on her own. This video is a substantial indication that 2015 should be a very big year for Lyons, and rightfully so. She deserves an A rating for a job well done on this video clip.
