article imageReview: Dustin Lynch captivates on new single 'Where It's At' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Apr 1, 2014 in Music
Country singer and platinum-selling star Dustin Lynch has a new single out on radio entitled "Where It's At," from his upcoming sophomore album.
It has already earned 79 first-week station adds at country radio, making it the week's most-added tune. It is the lead singe from Lynch's forthcoming sophomore studio album on Broken Bow Records.
"Where It's At" has already reached No. 50 on the Billboard Country Airplay charts, with the potential to go a lot higher. It was co-written by Cary Barlowe, Zach Crowell and Matt Jenkins, and produced by the great Nashville producer Mickey Jack Cones.
What I love about it is that it is upbeat and it has a laid-back summertime vibe to it, which is a breath of fresh air, compared to the polar vortex most of us in the East Coast endured this past winter. The tune is slightly reminiscent of Joe Nichols' "Yeah" and that should be taken as a compliment since I am a fan of both artists. This is the song that will put a smile on your face upon listening to it. It is my favorite song of his since "Cowboys and Angels." It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars. Bravo Dustin Lynch.
