Review: Dan + Shay release gorgeous new single ‘From The Ground Up’ (Includes first-hand account)

Their latest radio single “From The Ground Up” is one of their best musical works to date, since their breakthrough hit “19 You + Me.” It is the quintessential wedding song, and both Dan and Shay soar on harmonies. It is their lead single from their forthcoming studio album, and the song’s storyline was inspired by their grandparents.

“Beside you I’ll stand through the good and the bad, we’ll give all that we have, and we’ll build this love from the ground up,” they sing.

The Verdict

Overall, Dan + Shay are superb on “From the Ground Up.” It is a mellifluous track that will resonate well with their fans, especially their female listeners. It displays their wide range as country recording artists, and it is destined to become a wedding staple in the near future. Shaun Silva did a great job directing the song’s music video. It garners an A rating.
