A Grammy-nominated duo of brothers, T.J. and John Osborne opened their show with “I’m Gonna Be the Last One” and they continued with “Greener Pastures,” which is off their newest album Pawn Shop, as well as “Let’s Go There” and the title track “Pawn Shop.”
“Rum” was a crowd favorite from the earlier portion of their show. They showcased their musical roots to the Long Island audience by singing a cover of Hank Williams’ classic hit “Hey Good Lookin’,” where many fans were singing along.
Brothers Osborne noted their love for traditional country music and shared that they collaborated with country sensation Lee Ann Womack on their new song, “Loving Me Back.” In lieu of Womack tonight, John sang the vocal harmonies himself.
It was followed by “Ain’t My Fault” and their smash single “Stay a Little Longer,” which is a Top 3 hit on country radio and climbing. Brothers Osborne closed their set with “The Shape I’m In.”
The Verdict
Overall, Brothers Osborne did a solid job opening for fellow country singer Jon Pardi at The Paramount on his first headlining tour. They were witty, unfiltered at times, but their love for country music was contagious. Their live show at The Paramount garnered 4 out of 5 stars.
