According to People, the country heartthrob came up with the concept of the single while he was sitting on an airplane and thinking about girls.
It is a clever music video, especially since Eldredge plays the guy that loses his mind over a certain girl, thus winding up in a straight-jacket. Victoria’s Secret model Rachel Hilbert makes a cameo in his video as his female love interest.
“Lose My Mind” is already a Top 35 hit on country radio, and climbing. It is a track from his forthcoming studio album. Eldredge’s three previous singles “Mean To Me,” “Beat of The Music” and “Don’t Ya” all went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts.
Eldredge will be opening for country star Darius Rucker on his “Southern Style” tour, as Digital Journal reported.
The Verdict
Brett Eldredge’s new music video for “Lose My Mind” garners 4 out of 5 stars. It is quite different from his previous music videos, but interesting at the same time.
