article imageReview: Armin van Buuren back with superb new track 'Hystereo' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Sep 13, 2014 in Music
Electronic dance music (EDM) superstar Armin van Buuren has topped the Dutch iTunes charts with his newest single "Hystereo," and rightfully so.
"Hystereo" was released on all digital and streaming services on September 5. The single's official music video can be seen below:
It has strong synth beats and electronic instrumentation, clearly standing out as one of Armin's finest works this year, in addition to "Ping Pong," his gold-certified "This Is What It Feels Like" and his remix of Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" from the movie Frozen. "Hystereo" lasts less than three minutes and it is radio-friendly.
This past summer, the tune has fared well with the fans, and it was one of his most-requested tracks during his residency at the Ushuaïa Beach Hotel in Ibiza. His compilation from Ibiza will include original materials from Armin, as well as such EDM producers and DJs as Andrew Rayel, Markus Schulz and trance duo Aly & Fila.

The Verdict
Armin proves to get better with every release, and hopefully with the lively "Hystereo," he will reclaim the No. 1 spot on DJ Magazine's Top 100 poll, an honor which he has won a record-breaking five times throughout his career. It garners an A rating.
