By Markos Papadatos     Jul 7, 2015 in Music
Ann and Nancy Wilson from the acclaimed rock band Heart are delightful on their latest children's book "Dog & Butterfly."
Ann and Nancy co-wrote the book themselves, and Ann served as one if its illustrators, along with Rebecca Crockett. It is a poignant story about Mama Dog, her puppy and its desire to someday catch a butterfly. The theme of perseverance, patience and a possession of a hard work ethic, are illustrated throughout this bittersweet tale. The colorful illustrations are a breath of fresh air, and they elevate the book to a higher level.
Particularly impressive about the book is that it has the lyrics of their "Dog & Butterfly" song, which was originally penned in the late 70s by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, as well as Sue Ennis.
Music fans of Heart and readers can check out their book on Amazon's official website, by clicking here, and it is available in an ebook format as well.
