By Markos Papadatos     Oct 30, 2014 in Music
Acapella band Pentatonix has been on a roll lately. Their newest holiday album "That's Christmas To Me" becomes their second Top 10 debut in a month.
Their latest CD landed at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts, as well as No. 1 on the Billboard Seasonal Album charts, with over 32,000 copies sold. A major part of this commercial success was due to their music video for "White Winter Hymnal" which garnered over one million views in a four day period.
Pentatonix's previous holiday album PTXMas re-entered the Seasonal Album Charts at No. 12, so they were represented twice on the Top 15 Seasonal charts. The title track is an original recording by the a-capella group, and their version of Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" from Frozen is featured as a bonus cut. They will be performing on The Today Show on November 26, in an effort to kick off this year's holiday season.
Pentatonix is made up of lead singers Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado and Mitch Grassi, as well as vocal bass Avi Kaplan and beatboxer Kevin "K.O." Olusola.
