Op-Ed: Levi Hummon should be country music’s next big male star of 2016

Levi is the son of acclaimed country singer-songwriter Marcus Hummon, and he is signed to The Valory Music Company, an imprint of the Big Machine Label Group, whose roster includes Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert, RaeLynn, Thomas Rhett and Grammy-winning group The Mavericks.

As Digital Journal reported, Levi did an exceptional job opening for country songstress Kelsea Ballerini at her concert at New York’s Gramercy Theatre this past summer.

Throughout his career, Levi has written songs with such noteworthy country artists as Shane MacAnally, Andrew Dorff, Josh Osborne, Jonathan Singleton, Brandy Clark, his father (Marcus), among others.

Levi’s first full-length studio effort on The Valory Music Company should be quite promising.
