The nominated collaborations include Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe’s “Lonely Tonight,” Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s,” Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood’s “Somethin’ Bad,” The Cadillac Three (featuring Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Mike Eli) for “The South,” as well as Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan’s “This Is How We Roll.”
Should Win: This award deserves to go to Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe. Not only did their duet reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, but it is a gorgeous vocal performance by both artists. Their vocals blend so well together, and they produce a true vocal event. Monroe has the voice of an angel, and Shelton sounds as good as ever. They should have this award in the bag, come ACM award night.
