article imageNick Tangorra Band remembers comedic legend Joan Rivers Special

By Markos Papadatos     Sep 6, 2014 in Music
Teen pop sensation Nick Tangorra, from the Nck Tangorra Band, expressed his sympathies towards the loss of comedic legend Joan Rivers.
"Joan could put a smile on your face no matter the circumstance. I am lucky to have both my grandmas, but I always felt as if she was my third. We will all miss her terribly, but we are fortunate to have the ability to relive her legacy time and time again whether we watch her, read her, or think of her," Tangorra said.
Most recently, he and his band played at The Paramount in Huntington, New York, while opening for Warner Bros. recording artist and rapper Jake Miller, to a well-received show, as Digital Journal reported.
They also rocked on their acoustic cover of 'N Sync's "Dirty Pop."
Aside from Nick, his band is comprised of his brother and musical director Rafe Tangorra on drums, and Will Ahrens on guitar.
Nick Tangorra Band will be performing on September 14 at Dave & Buster's in Long Island, which will coincide with the teen star's forthcoming 17th birthday celebration.
