article imageNick Jonas reveals he feels 'cooler' after Jonas Brothers

Launching a career distanced from the Jonas Brothers, as a musical trio, hasn't stunted Nick Jonas' career, as he revealed that he now feels "cooler" apart from the former Disney-linked band.
As a solo artist, Nick Jonas has seen his career skyrocket, with the success of his recent self-titled studio album, in conjunction with his enormously successful single, "Jealous." According to the Billboard charts, "Jealous" has peaked at the number eight spot on the charts, most recently landing at the number 11 spot. When speaking with Gay Times Magazine, the youngest Jonas of the trio revealed that his recent career evolution has made him feel "cooler," in an essence. As he noted, "I definitely feel cooler. I think that was a big part of approaching phase two [of my career], being true to who I am."
As he continued to speak about this new phase of his career, Jonas said, "This is way more natural and organic to me than anything I've done in the past. I do get to start over in many ways, so I'm trying to embrace that." When speaking about his new album, the 22-year-old continued, "There are tracks on the record that are darker even than 'Chains' so it's probably somewhere in the middle, in reality, and I think it's a good representation of where it was all going without limiting the set up of this record with one track...So often that happens when people only hear one song. How're you supposed to go and buy a record if you've only heard one song?"
In continuing to promote his new career venturing, Jonas has recently announced that he will tour with Iggy Azalea on 'The Great Escape Tour.' The tour will begin in mid-April in Fresno, CA and will complete on Sunday, May 24 in Austin, TX. For full tour dates, see below:
