Massapequa Park - Mike DelGuidice and his Billy Joel tribute band, Big Shot, will be a part of this year's "Music Under The Stars" summer concert series.
Their show, which is free to the public, will take place on July 6 at John J. Burns Town Park in Massapequa Park, New York.
Most recently, Big Shot played their 500th career concert at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall, where they have a residency in Nassau County; moreover, on June 24, Billy Joel himself joined his cover band on stage at The Paramount in Huntington, where they sang three songs, including "You May Be Right."
DelGuidice is a member of Billy Joel's live band, where he plays acoustic guitar and is featured on background vocals.
Aside from DelGuidice, Big Shot is made up of Tommy Byrnes on lead guitar and backing vocals, Carmine Giglio on keyboards, synths and vocals, Chuck Burgi on drums, Nick Dimichino on bass and John Sarpulla on saxophone. Brynes, Burgi and DelGuidice are all members of Billy Joel's band.
