article imageLeah Turner talks new single 'Pull Me Back' and Brad Paisley tour Special

Columbia Nashville country singer Leah Turner chatted about her new single "Pull Me Back" and her experiences on the Brad Paisley tour.
She made Digital Journal's "Top 10 Female Country Singers to Watch in 2014" list.
Her single "Pull Me Back" originated from a situation the songstress went through the night before she co-wrote it. "There is always a time in a relationship where we have all been in a situation. We put walls up around our hearts and we push away, when all we want is to be stronger and for somebody to pull us back," she said.
Filming her acoustic music video for "Pull Me Back" was quite the fun experience since it included her friends and producers. "It was cool to show a little bit of a different side than a lyric video, and a live vocal," she said.
Turner has been a guest artist on country superstar Brad Paisley's tour, which was yet another fun experience. "That whole camp is just amazing to us. Brad really allows us to have our way with the stage and he lets us give the best show possible and really maximize the exposure potential that can have out there," she said.
A California native, Turner has nothing but great words for label-mate country DJ and producer, Dee Jay Silver. "I love him. He is such a great guy, and does such an awesome job keeping the audience engaged. He is amazing," she exclaimed.
Most recently, she played "The Fest" at the Pennysaver Amphitheater in Farmingville, New York, along with Tyler Farr, Cole Swindell, Brantley Gilbert and Thomas Rhett. "It was great. The crowd was awesome and we had so much fun. Brantley's fans are so loyal to him, but they treat us with open arms. We had an absolute best time," she said.
Her breakthrough single "Take The Keys" was a Top 40 hit on country radio. "I had the opportunity and the pleasure to co-write all of my singles and the songs on my EP. It feels really good to have a melody and a lyric and have it come together, and see it go to the Top 40 as a new female artist," she said.
She listed such country veterans as George Strait and Willie Nelson as her dream male duet choices, and in the female artist department, she claimed Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Wynonna and Martina McBride as her favorite choices.
