article imageKill The Buzz talks electronic dance music, Katy Perry, future Special

By Markos Papadatos     Dec 8, 2015 in Music
Kill The Buzz chatted with Digital Journal about his plans for 2016, his favorite track at the moment and his dream female collaboration choice.
On electronic dance music, he said, "The part that I love about electronic dance music is that people can have that euphoric feeling all dancing and raving at the exact same moment. I remember listening to 'One More Time' from Daft Punk when I was young and having that 'WOW I wanna dance!' moment as soon as the track started. Besides that I've always been a huge fan of Trance and Hardstyle so for me electronic dance music is the thing I enjoy the most."
Kill The Buzz has been working on a new track with Katt Niall on the vocals. "It has a more radio/poppy feel in it and will be released early 2016. Besides that, I'm also working on a couple of collaborations with some of the Revealed Recording guys including Thomas Newson and a collab with vocalist Harrison from the track 'Sally' with Hardwell. All the tracks are more radio-minded with a lot of melodic stuff of course," he said.
He added, "I will still be making the club tracks, but at the moment I like to work a lot on vocals."
When asked about his favorite track at the moment, he said, "At the moment it's something that I wouldn't play in the club but the track 'Been You' off Justin Bieber's album is really good. I'm amazed by the production and the way it sounds."
Kill The Buzz's future plans are to continue making a lot of music. "I've been finding it hard to find time to really be siting in the studio and working on tracks since I started the 'I Am Hardwell' shows last year, but now my future plans are focusing on music again besides touring. I've always dreamed about that one track that everyone would remember, so that's the aim for the future! After that... who knows, hopefully my own world tour one day."
He listed Katy Perry as his dream female duet choice in music.
Regarding the future of electronic dance music in the next five years, he said, "I see a lot of more melodic tracks and groove in the next five Years. Of course, the big-room sound as we know it by Hardwell and W&W, will always be around, but I think there will be a huge shift to more vocal / poppy influenced dance music."
For his fans, he concluded, "Thank you all for supporting me the last years! Wouldn't be able to doing what I do without you and hope to see you somewhere soon!"
