Renfro Valley - Kevin Richardson from the iconic multi-selling pop boy band Backstreet Boys will be inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame this April.
A Lexington, Kentucky, native, Richardson will be joining fellow Backstreet Boys band-mate and cousin, Brian Littrell. Both musicians will be performing at the induction ceremony, which will take place on April 10.
Richardson briefly left the Backstreet Boys in 2006 but reunited with the best-selling pop group in 2012. Their heartfelt, new documentary, that came out this year, was well-received by Digital Journal, as well as by fans and critics alike.
The purpose of the coveted Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum is to honor native Kentucky professionals in the music industry who have made substantial contributions not only to the state, but to the musical world as a whole. An interactive museum, the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame is located in the heart of Renfro Valley.
