Kenny Rogers to release ‘Once Again it’s Christmas’ holiday CD

His forthcoming Christmas album is slated for release this fall via his record label, Warner Music Nashville. Rogers is one of the best-selling music stars of all time, and this new collection will be titled Once Again it’s Christmas, which marks his first Christmas release since Christmas From The Heart, which was released in 1998. It is also his sixth career holiday album.

It will feature such special musical guests as multi-Grammy winner Alison Krauss, Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland, Home Free, as well as acclaimed pianist Jim Brickman and country-pop duo Winfield’s Locket.

In a press statement, Rogers noted that it was a fun experience to record a Christmas album, and he is excited for his fans and listeners to hear it. “I feel like this is a special group of songs, both old and new, and I was particularly lucky to be joined by many talented guest artists and musicians who each have something unique to say,” he said in a press release.

His first-ever Christmas album was released in 1981, and he has been out on the road performing Christmas shows every year, which he will continue this winter for his 34th consecutive year.

Rogers will be back on his “Once Again It’s Christmas Tour” with Grammy winner Linda Davis as his special guest. His show last year at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury with Davis was well-received by Digital Journal.
