Country songstress Kelsea Ballerini has been on a roll this year. She has scored 2 Academy of Country Music (ACM) award nominations.
Ballerini is in the running for "Female Vocalist of the Year," as well as for "New Female Vocalist of the Year."
Overjoyed, the country darling shared her excitement on her social networks. "Oh my God. This is unreal," she posted. "I don't even know what to say. Thank you."
Her breakthrough single "Love Me Like You Mean It" reached the top of the Billboard country charts and it was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In addition, her follow-up single, "Dibs," is in the Top 10 and climbing.
Ballerini is gearing up for her first tour to Australia this March, where she is going to perform at the Country CMC Rocks Festival. She has shared the stage with such musical acts in country as Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. This summer, she will be touring with hit country trio Rascal Flatts.
