Joey + Rory nominated for ‘Vocal Duo of the Year’ ACM award

This is quite a consolation for Joey Feek as she has been fighting stage 4 cancer. The husband and wife duo is nominated along with such country duos as Dan + Shay, Maddie & Tae, Florida Georgia Line and Brothers Osborne.

Most recently, they were nominated for a 2016 Grammy award for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” for their moving song “If I Needed You.”

Joey hopes to be able to survive to see this year’s Grammy awards, as well as the released of their hymns album, which will be on Valentine’s Day, February 14, and the birthday of their daughter, Indiana, which falls on February 17.
